For the final blog and to wrap up the series of questions that you need to ask yourself when running your own business, the last question is:
How will all of these questions help me make my business a success?
I want to go back to the start and take a look back over our 3 key points to success in business and life and how all of the questions we have answered link back to these key points
So, the very first one is knowing that success is a journey. It will take time and a lot of effort, but it is a journey and you will get there if you stay on the road.
The second one is that fear will hold you back, but faith will keep you going. It’s okay to be scared, but it must not be a limiting factor to your success.
And my 3rd key point is that purposeful action is essential for achieving your dream. We can all have ideas on paper and in our minds, but acting on those ideas is what makes them a reality.
I thoroughly believe that these 3 points are important to remember during your journey as a new business owner. You will hit peaks and troughs along the way, ups and downs, just like anything else in life, so it is important to keep focus and hold on to why you are doing this.
So how can these questions help?
We often ask ourselves many of the questions in our list but we very rarely write them down and answer them too.
Asking ourselves questions about what we want, how we will achieve it, whether we have what it takes, are important, character building questions that we need to answer for not only our own self-improvement, but to be sure that we are starting a business with a thorough and thought out plan.
There will be times during this journey, when you will doubt yourself and even your product so having all of these questions and answers to come back to will be a great help to keep your head in the game. Make them a part of your business manual and refer back to them regularly for a reminder of everything you have done towards making your business a success.
Remember that with the struggles also come the successes and although there may be tricky times, there will of course be may highlights and your success will rely on how you handle both the ups and the downs.
Reward yourself whenever something goes to plan even if its only a small win for your business, it is important to praise yourself, and of course any help or staff that you employ, regularly to show appreciation for hard work.
I would like to wish you all the best in this exciting new journey and sincerely hope that asking yourself these questions and answering them has encouraged you to make the right decisions in both life and your business and will continue to do so going forward.
