Fix Your Eyes on God

Fixing Our Eyes on God

Bible Passage:

“But mine eyes are unto thee, O GOD the Lord: in thee is my trust; leave not my soul destitute.”Psalms 141:8 (KJV)

Short Reflection:

Life is full of distractions, uncertainties, and challenges that can shift our focus away from God. Yet, David’s words in this psalm remind us of the importance of keeping our eyes fixed on the Lord. When we trust in Him, we acknowledge that He alone is our source of strength, provision, and security.

Trusting God means surrendering our worries and fears, knowing that He will never abandon us. It means looking beyond circumstances and placing our faith in His unfailing love. Just as David cried out for divine help, we, too, can call upon the Lord, assured that He will sustain us and guide us.

No matter what you are facing today, lift your eyes to Him. Let your trust in God be unwavering, and He will never leave your soul destitute.

Inspired Declarations:

  1. I fix my eyes on the Lord, for He is my refuge and strength.
  2. My trust is in God alone, and I will not be shaken.
  3. I declare that I will not lack, for God provides for all my needs.
  4. The Lord upholds my soul and will never forsake me.
  5. I walk in faith and confidence, knowing that God is my helper.

Prayer:

Heavenly Father, my eyes are fixed on You, and in You, I place my trust. Do not leave me destitute, but uphold me with Your righteous hand. Strengthen my faith, guide my steps, and fill my heart with peace. I trust You completely, knowing that You are my provider and protector. In Jesus’ name, Amen.
